We're a small, independent review outfit focused purely on AI companion apps. The same reviewers look after every edition we publish, this Australian one included, so a rating of 4.2 carries identical weight whichever version of the site you land on.
How each app is judged
Nothing gets scored until I've paid for it and used it daily for at least a fortnight. Five things decide the result: the quality of the conversation, how well it remembers, its images and voice, the true cost, and the control you keep over your own data. Scores are double-checked before every monthly refresh, and a flashy update log is never enough to bump one up.
Paying the bills
